This new service is now fully live on all UK networks. We are currently working to get it integrated into the UK Billing system - this is a continual process and is therefore an ongoing opportunity for the group to enhance, develop and grow. It is continually being improved by new features and feedback from the UK support staff. It is our aim to move this exciting new venture and forms part of the new corporate vision for the ongoing development of the business.
We look forward to rolling the platform out over the coming months.

On the 14th July Opera provided all the interactivity for the Roy Jones versus Anthony Hanshaw World Title fight. The World Title fight which was covered on America’s iN Demand network with a potential reach of 70 million people attracted a massive coverage. Opera provided all the interactivity including polls, trivial quiz and text services. This was a landmark event for the Boxing world and demonstrated how viewers can be drawn into a live event.
Everybody concerned with the promotion was pleased with the results which clearly showed the potential that future sports events in America have to provide a platform for substantial levels of interactivity from TV viewers.
Roy Jones beat the then undefeated up and coming Anthony Hanshaw to win the Light Heavyweight title.

Opera has been involved in a landmark event which has led to the announcement of a new Seven Wonders of the World.
The event and the story was carried on TV, Radio and Press around the globe and generated massive voting with prime time television shows being utilised in the campaign to find the new Seven Wonders.
Opera played a key part in providing the telephony voting for the event which climaxed in a star studded spectacle in Lisbon on the 7th July attended by, amongst others, Jennifer Lopez, Christian Ronaldo, Jose Carreras and Neil Armstrong. They even announced the latest Seven Wonders of the World to replace those chosen nearly 2000 years ago. Britain’s only representative - Stonehenge made the final but unluckily was not selected in the final Seven.
